Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi also known as Mahatma Gandhi, Bapu and Gandhiji was one of the most famous leaders of the Indian Independence movement. He was a political ethicist, Indian lawyer, and anti-colonial nationalist who operated nonviolent revolution to lead the successful campaign for India’s independence from British Rule. He was Born on 2 October 1869 in a Hindu family in Gujarat.
