Ram Temple In Ayodhya: Interesting Facts You Need To Know

Ayodhya Ram Mandir is popular as the Lord Shri Ram Temple. It is a famous Hindu temple being built in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India at the birthplace of Lord Shri Rama. The temple is believed to be built at Ram Janmabhoomi and is dedicated to Lord Shri Rama.

India’s Ayodhya Temple is a celebration for the Hindu community. The temple is considered an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. On Jan. 22, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a three-story monument made of marble, sandstone, and teak that features 44 gates and 392 intricately carved pillars.

Cost of Ayodhya Ram Temple Construction

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra had estimated in 2022 that ₹ 1,800 crore will be spent in building the grand Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

In October 2023, a PTI report said that the trust spent ₹ 900 crore on the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya between February 5, 2020 and March 31, 2023.
