Any water body which is surrounded by the water from all directions. However, Europe is not like any other continent surrounded by water. Europe shares its border with Asia where there is no water.

The water bodies surrounding Europe are the Arctic Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea. Europe is surely a big continent which is why there are many seasons in this continent. The best weather can be witnessed during summers where the average temperature varies between 14 degree Celsius and 24 degree Celsius. People in Europe also witness spring, autumn and winter every year.

Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, and London are among the most-busiest and top cities in Europe. Not to forget the Roman Colosseum which is one of the seven wonders of the world.  

Europe has a surface area of 10.1 million kilometre square and a population of 738 million. Home to some of the most visually appealing places, Europe is rich in tourist destinations as well as cultural heritage. The most visited places in the entire Europe is the museums. Each of the museums consists of different artefacts from all around the globe.

When it comes to its resources, then there Europe has a lot of forest land, sea, and minerals as well. Coal is the mineral which is found in most quantity in this continent. Many people from all around the globe want to visit Europe due to its great tourist destinations along with great history. Also known as the City of Water, Venice is among the most visited places in Europe. However, as per recent research, scientists say that it will someday submerge into water and become an underwater city.

When it comes to natural bodies in Europe, then it holds one of the cleanest rivers in the world. The Thames was considered as a biologically dead river over 50 years ago. The efforts by Europe made this river the cleanest in the world and shows that this continent has the potential to overcome any problem.
