Nawazuddin Siddiqui one of the finest actors of Bollywood Industry played the role of Balasaheb Thackeray in the film Thackeray. Amrita Rao plays the role his wife Meena Tai Thackeray. The film is written by Sanjay Raut a Shiv Sena politician and directed by Abhijit Panse.
